Starting this month, in Swedish pharmacies sex toys will be sold is a special area. So, now, when you go to Stockholm to buy some aspirin you can bring home some dildos and rabbit vibrators. It’s part of a national program that tries to convince the Swedish people that’s OK to feel good about your sex life and do everything you can to be fully satisfied.

A customer survey showed that the Swedish people want to buy sex toys and massage oils from pharmacies.  The marketers saw a great opportunity to test selling sex toys in some other places than sex shops and online stores. The public was trilled by the idea because now they can ask for free advice concerning not only their health but their sexuality, too (in the pharmacy). Apparently, people want to buy erotic toys in pharmacies because they get the feeling that the products are safe  and they won’t get hurt.

In the northern Europe people understood that a good sex life means happier people and better health.  “For us this is a part of life, there is nothing shameful or ugly” said one of the Swedish pharmacy brand managers.
